*can't stop smiling*

That...was....incredible. Absolutely, insanely awesome. Jaw droppingly epic which surpassed my love for every episode ever made in this show. Well, other than when Discord shows.

So spoilers ahead because I feel like giving this episode a total review!

I knew from the beginning that wasn't the real Cadence. I just..something told me, "no, she's possessed or it's an imposter", because it isn't like the workers to just...make somepony evil and maniacal and down right demonic when they were once known to be innocent (unless it's possession)

The cutscenes in this show with brother Shining Armor and Twilight were just endearing (and just made me want to work on the next chapter more since it's mainly brother Discord and sister Luna). I loved the cutscenes with Cadence as well and how adorable Twilight was when she first saw what she thought was her.

I found myself immediately wondering if the threat they perceived was coming was already in Canterlot and when I saw Cadence - er - the changling do that spell on Shining Armor my suspicions were confirmed.

ALSO, SURPRISE LUNA! The episode may have only shown a bit, but I think it was enough to save Hasbro's butt from the fangs of the bronies.

Through the entire first part of the episode I found myself going "PONIES Y U NO LISTEN TO TWILIGHT", and my heart just throbbed at the end with poor Twilight. I hate when Celestia gets mad at her however rare it may be. XD

My mouth literally went jaw drop when the fire surrounded Twilight and as I said in my other journal, the evil of this queen was something I didn't expect. Far more sadistic and maniacal than Nightmare Moon and Discord. I mean, she was using her powers to feed off every pony's emotions, their soul pretty much, manipulated all, tried to kill Celestia, used fire - MAN. XD

And when the changling Cadence was there in front of the mirror getting ready for her wedding and singing of her master plans DID ANYONE ELSE THINK "OH MY GOD IT'S URSULA", because I sure as hell did. Like, it just screamed "DISNEY REFERENCE" I may need to make a picture or SOMETHING based off that.

When Twilight found the real Cadence I literally shouted "I KNEW IT!!" (and caused my grandparents to come running to see what was up XD) and pointed at the screen. Cadence reminds me a lot of Faust for some reason... maybe it's the whole babysitting thing.

The appearance of the changling queen was just friggin amazing. I love how  they interpreted bug like elements into this nightmare and I loved how she had holes in her (can't help but think Discord would have made a swiss chees joke about her XD) and fangs. She reminded me so much of Nightmare Moon, and for some reason the evil queen in Sleeping Beauty.

I was mildly disappointed the girls couldn't use the elements again, but man oh man, fighting evil versions of themselves (well, all but Fluttershy XD) was fantastic! I was worried they'd all start punching and kicking each other thinking they were evil though.

I know a lot of people say "love saving the day and overpowering an enemy is cliche", but with MLP it just..works. And it was done brilliantly.

The ending song was fantastic and I love that they all reconciled with Twilight in the end. And SURPRISE LUNA was epic. So glad they brought her back.

All in all, just FABULOUS. Amazing way to end the season and amazing new villain and amazing new heroes and I can't wait to add them into my epic, incredible, fabulous epilogue for "Broken Spirit" (which is only about three more chapters BTW ) This episode also gave me a possible idea for a sequel... I've had sequel ides in my head for a while, but I think I just found the mass conflict~

SO GO WATCH THIS EPISODE AND DEAR GOD YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. I'M STILL BOUNCING FROM THE SHEER EPICNESS. ANIMATORS, CREATORS YOU ROCK~! "heart"
