*siiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh* It was a bad idea going to school today... Nanna was right. I should have waited until at least Monday. I was still coughing and sneezing today. Who knows. I may have infected some kids with my remainder from the swine! But I wanted to go to school for several reasons...

1) I wanted to go to school at least one day this week. I did NOT want to miss a full week of high school!
2) Today was art club and HOPEFULLY the mascot election!
3)I had a scheduled date with my boyfriend that we had been planning for just about a month now.
4)....It was Pizza day in the culanary caffe.

So I was coughing and sneezing and my throat still felt raw. (Not to mention my arm hurt badly from my vaccinaton yesterday.) Oh, yeah, I went to school yesterday just long enough to get the needle. I am TERRIFIED of needles, absolutely TERRIFIED of them. And like I've told people, "it's not so much the pain that terrifies me, it's the thought of something putting something into my vains or taking something out that FREAKS THE HELL OUT OF ME." However, I trusted Nanna and Mom when they said you didn't even feel it going in......and I FELT IT. It felt like a BEE sting and I cried. Well, I was crying when we got there too.. Mom said it hurt really bad because I still had the last of my sickness and my muscles were already tense to begin with, so the needle worsened the pain. I was still crying about a half hour after getting it. (I'm like that. Even after I get it I seem to cry more.)
Anyways, so my arm was terribly sore today and everytime I attempted to lift it it was just "ow, ow, ow!!!" So with that pain, my sickness, and the pain of my side made the day....not so very fun. Then I find out I have to write a HUGE big deal science test and I haven't even been taught the material!! THEN I find out due to all my "swine days" I missed so much class that my marks are in jepoardy. And I was just so horribly overwhelmed with all of the work I had to catch up on I felt like I could break down and cry. Thankfully, art club came and I was really excited when I saw the art teacher was here and most of the kids were as well. That meant we could have THE MASCOT ELECTION! !!! WOOT!! When I was telling everyone about GIR only a quarter of the class knew who he was, and I figured a video I had found of him would make people vote for SURE! ...But of course Mrs. McKnight's speakers were broken and I couldn't show it... Honestly, what else? Anyways, then one of the girls pointed out that an art mascot should be original like Mr. Voo.....so just like that, GIR was suddenly pushed from the race, along with Wilson (who McKenzie brought after all), and..Mr..Toad? (I don't know, I missed last week's.) I could have cried at that point. I had been waiting for this for over a month and no one was even giving GIR a chance. That Art Club was supposed to be the high point of my day and especially since everything else had gone terrible I had just prayed that it would work out. I needed SOMETHING to smile about... I was silent for about fifteen minutes because I was so upset but then I came up with a great idea: create an original mascot. In a period of ten minutes I had designed CORN the robot. He mostly only drinks alchoholic beverages like beer and margaritas and voldka. He has a pet pig named Poptart and he LOVES to draw. Whatever he draws (is mostly something to do with beer) comes to life. He has the eyes and antenna of GIR, the claws of WALL-E and the treads, and head shaped like EVE's. If THAT isn't creative and original, I don't know what is. I'm currently making him out of my sculpting clay. I'll paint him later. If I still have enough clay and paint I'll make Poptart too. There's also a few other contestants: Cleft Perkin (I have NO idea who or WHAT he is), Mr. EPIC, and of course that creepy Mr. Voo. Nicely done but I swear that thing is EVIL and it's plotting my death. I know it is. Once I have enough plushie making skill, I'm going to make CORN into a plushie, but for now an apple sized figurine of him will do. I should give him some beer too...
