Princess Charis, Daughter of Discord and Celestia

I haven't drawn little Charis Astraia in ages, and when I did she was just a baby. So here's some information on the little sweetie.

Charis was born with a balance of a love for chaos and order. She loves pranking with her father, but she knows a limit to some things and will often rat him out to his wife if things get too bad. Despite this, she's daddy's little girl.

Although Charis loves silly and chaotic things like her father, she also enjoys orderly tea parties and even royal meetings like her mother. Her special talent is illusion, which she discovered in a training session with Discord. She studies illusion in her teens and practices it all.

She was born with a great amount of magic, even stronger than her mother and father's were as a baby. Despite her strength in magic, she lacks everything physically. She's a slow runner, she can't fight, she hates sports, and she doesn't fly very fast, despite her large wings.

She mostly grows out of her large problem she had as a baby, which was her addiction to alcohol and meat, but every so often she gets cravings.

Physical appearance: She takes most of Celestia's genes, but she has Discord's eyes, and a blue pegasus wing (hidden in this picture). Her royal attire is similar to her mother's, but her chest armor has both the gems that are on her mother and father's crown.

Personality: Her personality tends to alter from that of her mother to her father. She can be a very calm and delicate lady that doesn't complain at lessons or meetings, but she has a love of chaos and un natural things. Her extremely goofy and playful side is mostly only shown when she's with Discord, and her grace is shown when she's with her mother. She has a low threshold when it comes to pain and cries easily. She tends to be very naive and anyone could easily pull the wool over her eyes.

Her interests: She loves candy and snuggling up with her Daddy in his cloud beds outside. She enjoys playing with her father and learning different spells. She also enjoys joining him on his pranking the girls and the servants. She helps her mother out in the palace and tags along at meetings and audiences. She even takes interest in some of her lessons. At night she sits beside her Auntie Luna and reads books on astronomy.

Her greatest love is studying illusion and she practices it any chance she gets. Given that she's an offspring of two gods, she has quite an advantage when it comes to magic.

Her relationship with her parents: Charis loves her parents more than anything on earth and she's close with both of them. Her relationship with her mother is slightly formal, and she isn't as physically affectionate with Celestia as she is with Discord, but she loves her mother regardless.

Her relationship with Discord is that of a "best Dad in the world" and "Daddy's little girl". She's very affectionate with him and loves to play and prank with him. In the nights of bad dreams or just having a bad day, it's always her father she goes to for everything. Discord spoils her rotten and if Celestia says no to something he's always the one to give her her way.

Relationship with Luna: Charis, even as she gets older, has difficulty staying up any later than nine, and being that her aunt sleeps most of the day, she doesn't see her much. The two mainly see each other at night when they have their star gazing time.

Relationship with Fluttershy: Fluttershy, her godmother, is the one she can talk to about anything. She's "THE Aunt"; the one she goes to when she has seldom fights with her parents, or any problems. She's protective of her godmother and realizes how sensitive she is. One of the only things that makes her truly angry is when someone makes her cry, like Discord when the two argue or he takes a prank too far, and she won't be afraid to stand up to her father when that happens.

Relationship with Twilight: Charis shares a love of reading and learning, which makes Twilight easy to get along with. She has a small crush on Spike and often follows him like a puppy when she's with the two.

Relationship with Rarity: Despite her princess-like behavior (at times), Charis doesn't like wearing outfits. She finds they get in the way, they're too warm, or she trips on them. She doesn't care much about outfits, but she still finds Aunt Rarity's dresses beautiful regardless.

Her relationship with Applejack: She doesn't have much of a relationship with Applejack because they don't spend much time together. Her physical weakness makes her useless when it comes to helping out on the farm, and thus she tends to avoid spending much time with Applejack or Rainbow Dash outside of generally spending time with all the girls.

Her relationship with Pinkie Pie: Charis loves helping out in Sugarcube Corner, but she's a terrible baker. After the Cakes realize this when she manages to burn several batches of cupcakes, candy, and even some milkshakes, they just put her in charge of taste testing new treats and generally just eating the sweets when she's there. Her, Pinkie, Rainbow, and Discord make for one doom team when it comes to pranking.
